Cliff, I don't know if it is what you are looking for, but I just finished the book "The Shack." I'm pretty sure you've read it, but maybe you need to revisit it. It really helped me at just the right time in my own spiritual journey. It's helping me with learning to "let go, and let God." That book is full of so much wisdom about the Lord - "Papa," Jesus and the spirit.

I'm still taking it all in, but I know I've had so many things wrong about following God for so long. I'm hoping that I'm ready to take that journey to a more complete place where we don't worry about the contradictions of the Bible or a religious group's theology. It's about opening our heart to God and letting Him be the guide. For once we hear his voice in our heart we will know the true path because He is showing it to us.

I'm not saying inspiration can't be found in the Bible or in religion, but the true inspiration and the only true path is in and through God. All things man makes are broken, all things God makes are perfect.
