176 Family From The Heart – The Final Homeschool Update

I'm sure you don't need this because you sound very confident in your decision, but I just wanted to encourage you!  :)  We have a special needs child and have struggled with school decisions for him.  He attended a Montessori school last year, which was a wonderful fit for him and he had a fabulous year.  We moved away from that school this Summer and so made the decision to try public school.  It was a no-go.  So we're homeschooling now.  And we LOVE it.  Last year, homeschool would have been an absolute disaster.  Our son is blossoming like we never could have imagined now that he's home.  Who knows what we'll do next year.  We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

So, I want to encourage you in that you went with your instincts on homeschooling and then with the decision to go back to public school.  It's a year by year decision.  God has given us a wonderful gift as mothers - a gift that our husbands will never, ever understand (sorry, guys!) - we have instincts when it comes to our kids and family.  An inner voice that screams loud and clear when something is the right/wrong course of action.  Your kids should feel very loved - y'all rock.  :)
