Hi GSPN Fans! This is Carole from the Community here again bringing you the weekly round up. I think spring weather is officially arriving here in upstate NY – and I think some of you around the U.S. have also experienced some nice, sunny, spring weather. And with this warm weather our thoughts have turned to….gardening!  Well, my husband’s thoughts, anyway (I have a “brown thumb”). He’s got this grand plan of fencing in and digging out a garden over the next few days. As long as he’s going to be in charge of this “project”, I’m happy to help. He’s already got a bunch of seeds started; some have sprouted already. We sat down last night to decide just how many of each vegetable plant we wanted, and how much room they would take up. I’m no good with numbers, so I left it to my dear husband to figure out just how big this garden is going to be. He just instant messaged me from work with a preliminary size he thinks this garden should be…which I’ll tell you in a minute.
Right now, here’s what rolled out on the GSPN feed in the last week – go get ‘em while they’re hot:

So, about the size of our garden…my husband is thinking possibly 16′ x 30′. Yikes! That’s an awfully big garden for “beginners”… isn’t it? And that’s an awful lot of sod to dig out…isn’t it? On top of that, he’s figuring we’ll need 8ft fencing to keep the deer out. (Apparently those buggers can jump a 6ft fence.) So, besides all the activities and festivities of Holy Week, it sounds like we’re going to be prettttty busy.
So are we totally crazy, or what? Leave me a comment and tell me what you think!
Have a blessed and Happy Easter and Passover, Â Carole
