Are You A Fan of The gspn.tv Community?

The gspn.tv Community has had group listing on Facebook for the past two years. However, there has never been a lot of activity on the group page.

This is largely due to the fact that unless you went directly to the group page, there was no way to know that anyone had posted anything new. Out of sight, out of mind seems to apply to social media just as it does anywhere else.

A few months back, some folks in the community had asked if I would launch a gspn.tv Community Fan Page. The benefit of the Fan Page is that when something gets posted on the wall in a fan page, those things show up in the timeline of those who have registered as fans to the page.

I’m looking into the other possible benefits of having a Facebook Fan Page. If you know of any, feel free to comment on this blog entry.

I’ve gone ahead and created the new fan page for the gspn.tv Community and I will be deleting the old “group site” very soon.
