The following is a quick email post that I just sent out to our gspn.tv community mailing list.

Many of you have been with us since the original LOST days and are just as blown away as we are by the growth of the gspn.tv network and and community. I can hardly believe how many wonderful things have happened since those early days in 2005.

gspn.tv Disney Dream Cruise

This summer, Tim and Kerri Arthur (along with Mira and Nolan), Randy and Faye Crane, Geoff Gentry, Tom and Jenn Snively (Along with Logan) all joined our family on the gspn.tv Disney Dream Cruise. Stephanie and I talked about our cruise experience in episode 260 of Family From The Heart. My favorite thing about these types of events is taking people who have never met, face to face, before and how they can seem like such close friends after just a few short days spent with each other. I hope to get some time to post more photos soon to my Facebook profile and on my Flickr account.

Veronica Mars Fan Podcast
VeronicaMarsStephanie and I have launched another tv show fan podcast. The Veronica Mars Fan Podcast is our newest podcast.

Veronica Mars is an American television series by Rob Thomas that launched on September 22nd, 2004 on the CW television network. The show was cancelled in its third season in May of 2007. Fans of the tv show were very upset about the cancellation of the show and started various campaigns to convince the network to reverse their decision and continue with the production.

Stephanie had not heard about Veronica Mars until the show had already been canceled. Friends began telling stories about how fans had hired a plane to fly a banner over the CW offices that said “Renew Veronica Mars” and about their campaign where fans sent well over 10,000 “Mars Bars” to the CW network executives. These stories certainly peaked Stephanie’s interest and she began watching the show from the beginning. She was hooked.

It was not until the 2013 Kickstarter Campaign where the show’s creator announced that he had struck a deal with Warner Brothers to bring closure to the Veronica story in the form of a movie. However, there was one stipulation. He had to raise 2 Million Dollars from fans of the show for the to studio move forward. Stephanie and I watched as the kickstarter campaign was successfully funded with more than 2 million dollars in pledges within the first 24 hours. Of course, Stephanie was one of those backers. When I (Cliff) saw that a total of 91,585 fans donated over 5.7 million dollars to this campaign, I was convinced that now was the time to see what is so special about this tv show. And that, my friends, is why the Veronica Mars Fan Podcast now exists.

We would love to invite you to join us as we watch and review each episode of this tv show. You can get the episodes via instant streaming on Amazon.

Of course, if you would be interested in helping Stephanie and I in a VERY BIG WAY, it would mean a great deal if you were to do the following three things in iTunes.

1. Subscribing to the Veronica Mars Fan Podcast In iTunes
2. Clicking to give us a 5 Star Rating in iTunes. (But only if you think we’re worth it)
3. Writing even a short written review in iTunes. (Can be a single sentence if you like)

If you would be willing to do one or all three items above, it helps us great a much greater amount of visibility in itunes. Our goal is to reach as many of those 91,584 other fans who contributed to the movie project. Below is a direct link to our listing in itunes.

Well, I guess that is enough for now. I hope to reach out to you again before long with more updates related ot the gspn.tv network and community.

I hope you have a blessed weekend!

Cliff
