    1. Other veggie tales gourd characters:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_VeggieTales_characters  Jimmy and Jerry GOURD.
    2. A loofah is a gourd with a spongy inside that people used to use – and many homesteaders still use – as sponges. That’s where the synthetic loofahs got their name.
    3. IMHO leeks taste a lot better than onions, though they are a bit of a pain to prepare.
    4. Glad you figured out that issue with your cer- I mean, sternum (LOL). Ironically, a few days after you responded to my comment on PABL, I tore my right pectoralis major. I suppose I should be happy it’s not a bruised rib, but I join you in being annoyed at having my fitness progress (mine is strength, not wt loss) seriously inhibited.
    5. We don’t watch TV (and no movies right now, either). DS usually watches an educational DVD once/day, but that’s it. A couple wks ago I told DH that I listen to FFTH so I can have a clue about what’s going on in the mainstream culture.
    6. Cliff, have fun at that speaker’s boot camp!

This Week in Gourds and Leaks and Cervix.  That was funny.
That train ride sounds great.  There is something similar in Santa Cruz, CA minus the farm part.
    Glad thee family had fun.
    Thank you both.

    K, bye

@crunchycoach Let me apologize for the delay in responding, I didn’t get any email notifications of comments from October 14th through November 23rd.  I’ve since fixed the issue.

Thank yo for taking the time to comment!
