I dvr'd this show so I could check it out.

I think I laughed harder than I have in a long time.....it was sooooooo funny. I hope it continues to be funny. I'll keep recording and watching.

The funniest thing is that I KNOW people like these guys.

Totally agreed.

It was a funny and charming show. Not groundbreaking, but funny. That will go pretty far.

Big Bang Theory sponsors the Ask a Ninja podcast. That's gotta say something about their humor.

I loved it! It's probably the best new comedy from the '07 Upfronts. For some reason I can't imagine it'll last longer than one season though.

I finally watched the first two episodes. Yes, it's really funny and I can either relate directly or know people like the characters. But I think they cross a line with all the sexual humor—not just innuendo but actual discussions of trying to lure the new neighbor girl. It's nothing graphic, but the producers obviously have no shame in distastefully bringing things into the script.

There is a very short glimpse of a production type screen at the end of the show....I paused on it last night so my daughter and I could read it. It was funny.

I'll have to see if I can watch it again and write down the list that was on it.

God Bless google......I googled Chuck Lorre Productions - and there is a site with his "vanity cards" that he puts at the end of episodes he produces.

Here is a link to the specific one I read the other night: (scroll down to see the list)

Just started wathcing it last few weeks, after hearing very positive things on Geek boards all over the place. Pretty darned funny, and seems to be loving in its portrayal of geek foibles.

Out of all the geared for 18-35 men this show gets the best ratings in the 8pm hour on Monday nights. Monday Night Football, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Chuck and this show are all aimed at guys. Chuck and Terminator are struggling for viewers. I'm a big football fan but maybe once MNF is done the other shows will gain viewers!

I just started watching BBT and its very funny! I'll have to catch it online or dvd's since I watch Chuck and Terminator and sometimes MNF.

I'm the Johhny Galecki come lately to the topic. I just discovered The Big Bang Theory and bought S1 through iTunes. Very funny. I'm six episodes in. Anyone know of a good podcast that covers BBT?

I'm later than you, Mauryre!  After hearing from a number of people how great this show was, I finally got the season 1 DVDs from Netflix and watched it.  Wow, it was so funny and enjoyable!  Since it doesn't air online, I won't be able to watch it during the season because I have chorus rehearsal on Mondays most weeks and other shows I watch that night are available online.  I don't have anyway to record it off of TV.  I enjoyed it, though!  I've already ordered the box set for S1 and pre-ordered S2.
