Sounds like you had a fabulous day out on the road, with the family, to Ohio.  Cliff, you made one point around the 20-minute mark, that is something I was just thinking about this morning.  You had said that, when you get a chance to listen to things, you prefer to listen to information-based programming, although you miss listening to music at times as well.

I AGREE 100%!  I am trying to find that right balance as well, especially with Christmas coming up.  When I don't think about it ahead of time, when I listen, I am ALWAYS listening to podcasts.  I never listen to the radio anymore.  However, I LOVE Christmas music (especially Diana Krall, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Denver and The Mile High Orchestra, and The Carpenters), and want to be able to REALLY LISTEN to it.  In addition, I have new rock cds from Metallica, Girlschool, and David Cook calling for their "crank me up and listen" time.

Ahhhhh.....in the meantime, I need to get back to My Crazy Life #333 and finish the Ravenscraft road trip.    Wayne       Smiley

Cliff - Dude - OUCH!!!  "If they hear this podcast, Apple is not going to make a new one...".   This is reality audio, 'keeping it real'.

I think I vaguely remember that quote.  Is that something that Meagan said?  I can't remember.

It was at the point when Steph had pinned you down for the count.  She was upset that she didn't know you were working and didn't know you had made plans to visit a friends.  She had every right to be upset.  I have been in your shoes so many times.  I was cringing as I was listening.  And then Meagan says "If they hear this podcast, Apple is not going to make a new one..."  (I think it was in reference to a new iPod.)  It was as clear to Meagan in the back seat, as it was to me, that things were not going well for Cliff at that moment.

Real, uncomfortable and funny (from were I was sitting) all at the same time.

Good news is that everything ended well that day if you listen to the end of Stephanie Unplugged 13...

We certainly have our own issues. Wink

I have not head 333 yet. Reading the comments here caused me to inventory the thoughts and talks that I share with my wife. Ouch.

I hope everyone takes time to listen to Family From The Heart 035.  Stephanie and I argue and are as messed up as much as most married couples.

However, near the end of this episode, it is evident that we are madly in love with one another.
