Moocow AvatarHi GSPN Fans! Here I am again with the weekly round up for you. In fact, speaking of the round up, I was almost late in posting it because I was lucky enough to get an iPod Touch as a gift yesterday and I have been so absorbed with all the cool things it can do!  I remember when the iPhone first came out and Cliff was so excited to get one, and I had thought to myself, “What’s the big deal?  It’s just a phone…”  Well NOW I see why he was so interested in getting one – especially Cliff, Mister-Tech-Gadget-Cool-Stuff-Guy!  Anyway, you might be surprised by what I think is the coolest thing about it so far.  But more about that in a minute…

Right now, here’s what rolled out on the GSPN feed in the last week – go get ‘em while they’re hot:

+ denotes podcast released for Plus Members only

+ Desperate Housewives 036 – How About a Friendly Shrink?

Full Time Mom 113 – Getting My Nose Pierced

So, I’ve only had this iPod Touch about 24 hours (I was up until 2am with it last night, LOL) and I am still discovering all the cool things it can do, and things I can use it for, but I think so far my FAVORITE thing that it can do is stream talk radio!  (I am a talk radio junkie.)  Normally I stream the shows I like to listen to on my computer, but I don’t usually feel like carrying my laptop around with me if I want to go to another part of the house.  You might say, “Why don’t you just turn on a radio when you go to another room?”  But have ya ever listened to AM radio?  It’s painful.  With the iPod Touch I can take my talk radio with me wherever I go AND best yet, it’s nice and clear.  I’m sure I’ll find lots of other stuff I can use it for, but for right now I’m thrilled to have Glenn, Rush or Lou talkin’ to me wherever I want to go.  :-D

See you next week! Carole
