As many of you know, Stephanie and I have both been trying to pursue a more balanced life. This pursuit has including making some radical lifestyle changes in our eating habits and has included regular, intentional physical activity on a daily basis.
Stephanie has lost more than 40 pounds since she started implementing these changes back in August of last year. I didn’t get extremely serious about making these changes a part of a permanent lifestyle until May 1st of this year. However, since May 1st, I’ve lost 26 pounds.
Photos are starting to tell the story for us. The top portion of the image above was just taken this week at a friend’s wedding, on Saturday, July 11th, 2009. The bottom portion of the image is from a photo taken at my sister’s wedding which was in February, 2007.
While the distance from the camera is not the same, it is quite obvious that we both look a great deal healthier and happier today that and we did two years ago.
