In this episode, Stephanie and I share our initial reactions to viewing episodes five and six of Season six of Doctor Who titled Rebel Flesh and Almost Human.

Our first reaction was that Rebel Flesh was probably the worst episode of Doctor Who to date. However, as we went further into our discussion, we came to the conclusion that without episode seven, we are missing a very big piece to the puzzel.

Regardless, we share our thoughts on these two episodes and also share a bit of community feedback from this season as well.

In this episode of On The Screen With Cliff and Stephanie, we share our initial reaction to Season 6 Episode 4 of Doctor Who titled “The Doctor’s Wife.”

This was a fun episode. While many people may have thought that this would be the episode that explained the complicated relationship between the Doctor and River Song, we were not shocked to see her absent from this episode.

It was great to see the tardis “brought to life.” I love that I continue to love this show so much!

In this epsidoe of On The Screen With Cliff and Stephanie, we share our thoughts on the BBC series titled “Sherlock” which is a modern day edition of the classic stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

The first episode takes a bit of time before it really draws you in. In fact, I wondered if I was actually watching the right show at first, even though I put the DVD in myself and saw the Sherlock Main DVD Menu screen.

The story finally gets going when Sherlock is actually introduced and by the end of the first episode we were hooked. We watched the first two episodes but really only talked above the show in general in this episode. We now have the DVD, from Netflix, that contains the 3rd episode of the first season of this series. We may come back and share some thoughts on it. We’ll see how it goes.

In this episode of On The Screen With Cliff And Stephanie, we review a new movie with Kate Hudson, Ginnifer Goodwin, John Krasinski, and Colin Egglesfield titled “Something Borrowed”

This is totally a chick flick type movie featuring quite the love triangle. I actually surpised Stephanie at the end of the movie when I told her that I enjoyed it. It’s odd, because this movie does have some language, features pre-marital sex, and depicts alcohol and drug abuse.

If you can get over all the above and you compare it to similar movies, this movie was entertaining and shows some beautiful scenes of New York City.

In this episode of On The Screen With Cliff and Stephanie, we share our initial reaction to Season 6 Episode 3 of Doctor Who titled “The Curse of The Black Spot.”

What an amazing episode. This was like Doctor Who meets Pirates of the Caribbean. I’m amazing at just how creative the writers of this show can be after so many years. I guess when you give someone a box that can allow them to travel to any place and any time, the possibilties are endless.

I share my theory about the potential pregnancy of Amy Pond. I’m probably wrong, but I had fun sharing my theory none the less. It would be so cool if it turns out that I was right.

In this episode of the Doctor Who edition of the On The Screen Podcast with Cliff and Stephanie, we discuss the first two episodes of Doctor Who season six.

It’s been a full year six we last covered Doctor Who, but we are back! Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed both The Impossible Astronaut and The Day of The Moon. However, we did come away with a little bit of confusion.

We are delighted to announce that we have a very dependable method of receiving each new episode of Doctor Who thanks to our season pass purchased through iTunes. We look forward to producing this podcast on a more frequent basis.
