007 GSATC – Almost Daily Devotional – Who Are Your Friends?

by Cliff Ravenscraft on August 25, 2006

in Encouraging Others Through Christ

In this devotional, we take a very small clip from a conference where Donald Miller was one of the guest speakers.

In this podcast, I talk about the sad statistic that almost all brand new Christians loose touch with nearly every non-Christian friend within six months. Jesus spent nearly all his time among non-believers and those who were cast aside by the religious institutions of the day. When Jesus gave us the command to make disciples, he told us to teach them what he had taught. Jesus taught that the best way to reach tax collectors and sinners was to invest time and energy into relationships with them.

The pharasees hated this concept. Where do you stand? Who are your friends?
