In this episode of Balanced Living Weekly, Fr. Roderick shared how making sure he’s getting the proper amount of sleep is helping him to manage the massive amount of work that he has on his schedule during this very busy holiday time.
I shared that while I am experiencing a greater amount of margin and free time during my evenings and on the weekends, I’m finding myself wanting to always “do something.” Rather than giving into the temptation of working on work related things, we discussed things that I might instigate to spice things up a bit during family time.
Chrissy called in with some feedback related to restaurants with calorie counts on their menus. Mary called in to share her own tip on how to save money by working out with things you may already have in your home. Beth called in to share how scheduling her workouts has helped her to make that a part of your normal daily routine. Jeanne called in with some thoughts about her Boston Marathon run.
Father Roderick also mentioned a podcast that Beth and her husband are doing at http://thetightrope.net.
Please note that we will not be recording an episode of Balanced Living Weekly next week due to Fr. Roderick’s trip to Rome. We’ll return the following week with a new episode and hope to hear from you on our voicemail feedback hotline at 859-795-4067.
