In this episode, I answer a few questions from the voicemail feedback hotline (859-795-4067) and I share some thoughts from a recent New York Times article that done about Leo Laporte and his efforts in podcasting.
The first question of the day was from Tony who asked for my thoughts on how long a podcast should be.
David asked if he could go back and edit the settings of a Feedburner Feed if he abandoned it’s creating half way through the creation process. He also asked if I could explain RSS so that a two year old could understand it. I doubt that my explanation would make much sense to a two year old, but I hope that my explanation made a little bit of sense. Perhaps I should have waited until I was completely recovered from my sinus cold to answer that one.
Justin called in to ask if I had any thoughts on a specific issue that he is having where his description in iTunes are starting off with a huge white space before it displays his description.
Finally, I share some exciting thoughts about the New York Times Article about Leo Laporte. My favorite quote of the entire article was where the author wrote, “Mr. Laporte has shown there is a lot of life in podcasting.” Indeed he has! Link to this article: http://goo.gl/LNXoa
