In this episode, I discuss the following topics:
Jonathan Nation called in to asked how much time it takes to produce a single episode of a podcast, including show preparation through post production. I mentioned the Inside The Studio Equipment Setup and Podcast Workflow product that you can get at http://PodcastAnswerMan.com/studiosetup.
Richard called in a question about Twitter and how to use it effectively in a business. I told Richard that he should check out another podcast that I produce called Social Media Serenity which can be found at http://SocialMediaSerenity.com. I mentioned that he should listen to episode 71 titled “Will Social Media Help My Business?” and episode 57 titled “The Power of LinkedIn”
Butch Gibson called in to say that he’s trying to learn podcasting at a faster pace. I give a great deal of detailed information about my Podcasting A to Z Group Training Course that I’ll be doing in March. If you are interested in participating in this course, please email me at [email protected]
Ian Westerman called in a few weeks back. At the time he mentioned that he’d recorded well over 100 episodes and never had any sort of an issue. In this episode, he shares that after 150 episodes, he is now running into MAJOR ISSUES with recording into the computer. Ian also shared some praise for the Heil PR-40 Mic and the service he got from Bob Heil, personally.
Scott Gorman called in to ask whether or not if he should plug his mic right into his processing equipment or if he should use insert cables to bring the mic audio out of the mixer, into the processing equipment and then back into the mixer.
Finally, I share some interesting stats as to results of our of decision to make all our content at gspn.tv for free. If you want to read about the changes we made to our Plus Membership model, please check out https://gspn.tv/plus.
