You Inspired Me To Stop Podcasting
I never thought the day would come where I would be happy to receive feedback from a podcaster who said that I've inspired them to end several of their podcasts. However, I could not be more delighted to receive such feedback from John Wilkerson of the Wired Homeschool Podcast. John has been producing several podcasts for many years. However, he recently decided to suspend production of all podcasts, except for the Wired Homeschool. To learn why, please listen for his call in this episode.

If you decide to check it out, please tell Donovan that you heard about the podcast from the Podcast Answer Man.
Would SoundCloud Work For Podcasting?
Yesterday, I posted an hour long video that is a screencast of a conversation that I had with Ben Fawkes from SoundCloud.com. Ben wanted to tell me about how they are opening up their platform for podcasting. I figured that the podcasting community would be interested in hearing what I learned on the call. Podcast WorkFlow & Heil Mic Placement
Tom Lelyo called in to ask two questions. First, he wanted to know if there was a better podcast production workflow than the one that he is using. I suggested that he first go through my free How To Podcast tutorial and then my WordPress For Podcasters tutorial. I tried to give an overview of my production workflow in the episode.
Tom's other question had to do with the proper mic technique for the Heil PR-40 microphone. Have a listen to the episode to hear what I shared in response to this question.
