Anne and Valerie Visiting From Germany

Stephanie and I are so exciting to welcome Anne and Valerie, two wonderful gspn.tv community members from Germany, into our home for a few days.

Anne and Valerie have arrived yesterday afternoon and we've had an enjoyable time with ever since. Of course, no visit with Cliff and Stephanie would be complete without a visit to Chipotle, so we all packed into the car and headed out to the Ravenscraft's favorite dining spot.

I don't think anyone is as excited to have them with us as our four year old daughter, McKenna. As it is, McKenna will hardly let Valerie leave her side. She's become McKenna's new BFF.

Today we threw an impromptu gspn.tv meetup together and were honored to be joined by Jeff and Lea Spense, our great friend Jeremy L. aka @Phlegon, as well as Sarah Rader, co-host of The Full Time Mom Podcast. During our time together, I brought the MacBook upstairs and streamed our gathering on Ustream. The best part is that we recorded that stream for those of you who were not able to join us live. Videos posted below…

This evening, I believe all the ladies are getting together to go see a movie and I'm looking forward to spending the day with our guests on Saturday. On Sunday, Anne and Valerie are leaving to drive two D.C. to visit with another gspn.tv community member, Maggie Mack, and after that, I believe they are even going to NYC and meeting up with our great friend, Mark Tafoya aka Chef Mark.

Of course they'll be visiting some family and other special people here the states as well. However, I can't begin to tell you what an honor it is to know that the gspn.tv World HQ (lol) was their first destination on this three week visit. What an awesome confirmation of the vision that Stephanie and I had for the gspn.tv community to know that they've connected with so many other members of the gspn.tv community on such a deep level that they are visiting them as well.

I hope to get Anne and Valerie into the studio for a podcast before they leave.

I'm embedding those recorded videos that I spoke of here:

Note: Ustream is awesome at live streaming content. However, pre-recorded content recorded by Ustream is not their main focus. If you experience issues with these recordings, please try again later. Unfortunately, I don't have any other version that I can offer.
