I don't know how we Ravenscraft's fit so much into one weekend. Yet here I am again with another weekend update.
Before I get to the weekend, you may have noticed it's been a few days since my last post. I had left town for another Insurance Training Seminar last Tuesday and did not get back till late Friday Night. This seminar was on Commercial Property Insurance Coverages. Overall I learned quite a bit, however, the first day was HORRIBLE. The guy that they had teaching sounded like the teacher from Farris Bueller's Day Off. After about two hours, he began to sound like Charlie Brown's Teacher.
The worst thing about my 8 hour lecture on Wednesday was that the instructure simply READ AN INSURANCE CONTRACT TO US FOR EIGHT HOURS! Have you ever read an insurance contract before? Luckily I had better instructors on Thursday and Friday, but I think I will try to attend that institute again down the road and just check ahead and make sure that same instructor is not a part of it.
After three days of lectures, I headed back home and just barely made it in time for Doug Honour's wedding. I felt so awful when I got there as I was wearing a pair of shorts and t-shirt. Talk about feeling out of place. But hey, I'm just glad I got to make it. I did manage to get just a few quick photos in while I was there for the reception.
On Saturday, all eyes were on Meagan as she had her very first Ballet/Dance Recital. I was so proud of my little girl. She was very graceful and beautiful as she did all her moves. My little girl is getting so big. They said that no cameras were allowed but I couldn't resist trying to catch a few shots in while the camera police wern't looking.
On Sunday, I took our family on a Scenic River Sunday Drive to Madison Indiana. It was much better than I had anticipated. I didn't know that the Ohio River could actually look beautiful.
Overall, it was another very busy weekend. Yet, it was relaxing at the same time. I love those kind of weekends.
