Living Simple – More Is Not Always Better

I found a YouTube embedded on another blog recently. I found the video to be quite inspirational. I'm not looking to move into a smaller home like this. However, it really does help to keep things in perspective when considering the space that we currently have available to our family.

It makes me think about how much do I really need? I think about how he said that people live in 4000 square foot debtors prisons. I love the part where he says that if I want to throw a party for forty people, I can just take the money that I save in mortgage payments and rent a hotel room to throw the party.

Again, for me, it's not that I'm looking to go to any sort of extreme here, but I do value to thoughts of simple living that flow through my mind after viewing.
