Stephanie and I just returned from a seven day pleasure cruise, aboard the Celebrity Silhouette, with folks from Dan Miller's 48 Days community. If you have ever been on a cruise before, you know that the culture is one of laying back, relaxing and enjoying entertainment and an unlimited amount of food.
It's not uncommon for folks to gain as much as one pound per day on a cruise. Most people are prepared for the fact that they are going to gain a few extra pounds during their trip. However, I was determined that I would not only not gain weight while on the cruise, but that I would actually lose weight with my continued commitment to my healthy lifestyle.
In this episode of Pursuing A Balanced Life, I share the decisions that I made during my week on the cruise ship as it relates to exercise and food choices. At the end of the episode, I reveal the result from stepping on the scale upon my return.
