By buying a commanding share of Paik Industries, I was convinced that Sun was using her new status to get to Widmore. What I didn't think is that she wanted to get to Widmore so she could help him take down Ben. But after last night's episode, I'm starting to  think she's trying to get back at Ben.

I got the impression last night that Jack might actually be the other person Sun is blaming for Jin's death.  At some point in the episode Jack says she blames him.  I have only watched it once at this point so I cannot remember if Jack told Frank not to go back to the ship or not.

i agree.  I think Jack was saying that he was the other person.  But here's my theory:

1. Locke visited everyone before he died.  That means he met with Sun.

2. He told Sun that Jin is still alive on the island.  I can picture no other reason or motivation Sun would have.

3. Sun is carrying out a plan that she and Locke had put together, because she would seemingly have the best motivation for turning against Ben.  Widmore would fall for her.

Then again, Sun's character could change as a result of Jin dying.  But when she told her father she bought the company, it seems like she wasn't going to run it in the same way.

on a side note, when she walking in to her father's office, were they talking about her when they said that the person used five different banks?  would that mean that she borrowed from her five Oceanic 6 friends?

can't help but think that Charlotte is a big part of what is going on.  I heard a theory that she was Ben's friend when he was a youth, but it seems like she'd be too young for that.  Apparently she was born there.  Was she conceived on the island?  we know that those that conceive on the island don't go full term, so is there something special about her?

and I loved the part with Miles.  "What DO I mean?!"  And a side note, its interesting that he decided to stay

Hi everyone,
This is my first post ever… but after watching the finale, I’ve got so many questions, I was wondering what you guys think about some of them.

Ok, so at the end of Season 2, when Desmond used the fail-safe key, we saw the same purple light (that we saw when Ben moved the island in the last episode) and there was this same shrill sound. So did the island move then too? If so, did pushing the button every 108 minutes keep the island from moving?

Also I was wondering if Ben – at that time – knew why the sky turned purple (had he seen it before?) and if he knew what was going on? I remember thinking that, when Ben was standing there on that dock, he seemed pretty unimpressed by what was happening. And when everything went “back to normal” he went on as if nothing had happened.

Also Ben said that whoever moved the island, couldn’t return to it. Could Whitmore have moved the island once and then got abandoned from it?

These are just some thoughts. What do you think?

i was reading an interview with Harold Perrineau and he says that he's done with the show. the producers said they were going on without Michael's character and he was somewhat disappointed because he wanted a happy ending with Michael and Walt.

and definitely a guy, not a girl.... cliff.

CLAIRE-BUG gave me some links to the screen caps and it would appear that Through the Looking Glass Final Scene and the opening scene to No Place Like Home Part 2 were filmed at two different times.

  • Makes sense since they don't tell the actors what is going to happen in the future of the show!
