632 PABL – Please don’t tell me that working out is a daily struggle or an ongoing battle to fight.

I get a little fired up in this episode of Pursuing A Balanced Life. A few months ago, I had someone tell me that they were very excited about all the progress that I had made in my health and fitness journey. They then turned their words of encouragement to words of warning.

This person warned me that I would eventually hit a plateau in my weight loss and that the daily struggle to maintain my daily workouts would get much more difficult. He told me to not give up, that this was going to be an ongoing battle that I would have to fight for the rest of my life.

I respectfully disagreed with this person's mindset.

I wanted to record an episode about this topic back when this happened. However, I thought that it might seem too reactionary.

This morning, I had an an exchange with someone in the comments section of a recent Instagram post. I had congratulated him on his amazing success in losing 40 pounds in the past two and a half months.

This person then responded by saying… “Thanks Cliff. It's a daily struggle, but I seem to be on the winning side this time!”

I immediately wrote back to him saying… “I pray that one day the thought that is a “daily struggle” will transform into the thought that “this is an exciting daily journey of amazing transformation to fully becoming all that you were created to be.” – Mindset is everything!!!!”

After that, I knew that I had to come and share my heart on this topic.
