I had a free Redbox rental of Snow White and I felt the same. Parts were good, but I did not enjoy it overall.

I have an Apple TV and my TV (Vizio) has Amazon built in (but I hate the interface). I have the Amazon app on my iPad but you cannot use Airplay to push it to the Apple TV and my laptop is older so I cannot use Airplay on it. Amazon need to do an Apple TV version of their player. I agree with @GSPN that having ads and lack of consistant content makes hulu frustrating. If apple made a cable box where I could choose my TV channels I would snap it up in a min.
